Danson Park, in the London Borough of Bexley, probably existed as an estate before the 13th century. Danson House was built during the eighteenth century; with parkland designed by Capability Brown.
If you have not heard of Capability Brown, you should read up on him; he’s the best known English landscape artist and designed about ten million gardens in his lifetime (thus the name ‘Capability) I think he was using a Time Turner as Hermione did. Anyhoo, Danson House is a Grade I listed Historical Building on lease to English Heritage for 999 years. It is open to the public only on special viewing days, but, you know. Special days for NINE HUNDRED AND NINETY NINE YEARS. (image by Didimendum1 on flickr, who is actually a Duke and a flickr friend of mine. I have connections see)
